Good morning and welcome to this Tuesday morning! (Tuesday in New York at least…)
We are all on a journey. Maybe to the breakfast table, or maybe we have a different destination in mind.
I am always setting goals, sometimes I reach them with ease and set one a little more challenging. But sometimes I find myself making very little real progress. And I quickly realize I must regroup and refocus, because if we don’t think strategically on where we want to go as well as how we can get there we can get lost in the mix.
You know what I’m talking about.
Have you ever struggled with something too close for you to be objective about? Something you feel passionate about maybe? Have you ever struggled because you lack the unbiased perspective to give something a critical analysis?
I sure have.
It happens to me all the time. I suspect it happens to us all, because we all have those certain things we are passionate about. We have projects we call ‘our babies’ whether a cartoonists sketch or a professors academic papers.
My ‘baby’ is this site. I started it because I went through an enormous transformation in my life. Life threw me some nasty curve balls, I struck out more than a few times, but I found my stride again and am connecting every time. Being an empathetic and caring type I want to share the things I’ve learned with all of you, and of course to share our journey as we learn together.
I want to learn from you.
I recently found an incredible resource called ‘Peek by user testing’. They have random internet users do a five minute test of your site and send you the results. They delivered as promised and I will list the video below if you’d like to see them in action.
Remember how I said that sometimes we lack the unbiased perspective to give something a critical analysis? ‘Peek by user testing’ has helped me see new possibilities, and new opportunities for this site.
Here’s the thing; I can’t do it without you.
I need to know what you think as a user or just a reader here at thinkhub.org.
If you’ve got five minutes I be grateful if you could watch it and let me know what you think?
I want to change things up, give the site new life. Let me know what you would like to see change and I will make it happen!
The possibilities are endless.
As usual thanks for stopping by! !
