Sometimes Words Aren’t Enough

Can I be honest with you? Lately, I have been feeling a little bit stuck.
Have you ever felt that way?
My writings always seem to center around the general idea that we are all basically good people but some have been led astray one way or another. That is an extreme simplification of course but it fits the bill.
I truly want to enrich and inspire you toward social good. I am always asking myself how I can accomplish this task, and I believe communication is the only option we have. After all, how can I convey to you what it is I am trying to say without the words to do so?

Lately though I am feeling disconnected, even a little distraught simply blogging. I want to do more. I want to help more people in direct and tangible ways.
I know that words can offer comfort, impart knowledge, convey some piece of the puzzle into the hands of someone who needs it… but they can also do so much more. They can motivate, they can miraculously carry energy like a golden thread. This is what I desire; to be the cause for your action. That action should help you in some way to feel better, to think better, to live better. If not than what is the point?

I decided to get out there and join a volunteer organization that is dedicated to service and charity. It was the best thing I have ever done. Through actions we can communicate even more clearly, and with greater impact.
I wanted to let you know that I am finally realizing that we need the real world connections to bring it all to fruition. We can speak openly and at length about the injustices of the world and how we can dispel them but actions truly do speak louder than words.

I have been donating through GoFundMe to a woman named Vincent Tolentino who needs assistance in paying her medical bills. If you feel you can offer some assistance also please do @ http://www.gofundme.com/pn2j6c .
I have also written my first e-book recently titled “God, Addiction, and State Prison” which chronicles the psychological changes that an addict goes through in an effort to broaden our understanding of addiction. Go here to check it out-
These are just a few of the more tangible ways I am learning to accomplish my mission to enrich and inspire toward social good. I hope you are doing well wherever you may be.
…and on a less formal note- For all you readers out there I will be releasing my first fiction e-book titled “Accretion” [Anomalous Series]
You can get the first chapter for free here @ https://play.google.com/store/books/details/Tommy_Parisi_Accretion?id=7eDxCAAAQBAJ
